A blue flyer promoting Alliance Youth Basketball Girls Basketball Camp. The camp will be held June 1, 2, and 3 from 9 AM to 12 PM. It is open to girls entering grades 1–8 and will take place at Alliance High School. Campers will learn the game, sharpen their skills, participate in daily competitions, and be part of a team. All campers receive a t-shirt and basketball.  Cost is $30. Discounts are available for multiple children: 2 campers for $50, 3 or more for $60. A flyer titled “#LikeAGirl” promotes a free program on April 22, 2026, from 6–7 PM at the Alliance High School Auditorium. The program connects elementary and middle school girls with high school female mentors involved in sports, clubs, and academics, with the goal of building confidence and life skills.  The April 22 meeting will include a presentation on friendship by school counselors Mrs. Allison Morrison and Mrs. Tori Popio. Girls will meet in Room 235 at Alliance High School and will make friendship bracelets. ❤️ Sarah Lantz is the 2026 ACS Teacher of the Year! Ms. Lantz is a 6th grade science teacher at Alliance Middle School. When asked why she was deserving of the award, her students responded with things like, "She's kind," "She makes class fun," and "She cares about us." She is making a positive impact on their lives each and every day!

🩵 Baeli Kimble is the 2026 ACS Rookie Teacher of the Year! Mrs. Kimble is a first-year 1st grade teacher at Alliance Early Learning School. When her students were asked why she was deserving of this recognition, they responded with, "She's sweet," "She's fun," and "She's pretty." Even in her first year as a teacher, Mrs. Kimble is already inspiring some of our youngest students!

At the end of each quarter, Alliance Middle School students take part in an activity day where they pick activities they want to participate in! This can include board games, video games, manicures, crafts, and more.

The activity day gives students time to celebrate their success over the past 9 weeks with their friends. Way to go, Aviators! #RepthatA

Alliance Middle School students recently took their ideas to the next level at the Stark Idea Quest competition held at the Akron-Canton Regional Airport!

Led by Matt Horning, a group of 6th and 7th grade students pitched an idea to create a middle school theater festival aimed at bringing the community together. They didn't receive the top prize, but they got three offers from local community partners who want to help bring their idea to life!

Congratulations to Brady Floyd, ShaRiyah Fortner, Aubree Ross, Aaliyah Rounds, Alyssa Schaffert, Jyllian Smith, Piper Walker, Natalie Eversdyke, Kaiden Gamertsfelder, Andrew Horning and Natalya Jimenez for their hard work and for positively representing AMS. What a great experience! #RepthatA
